Awesome show & some great tunes from some heavyweight songwriters (Dave Mathews band & Ben Folds to name two). Good to hear a show taking time to explain how streaming royalties work for artists. Its a tricky balance for bands.To get streams you m need to be quite proactive & also invest in promotion. However the income from actual streams can end up being quite small compared to what you put in. Most up & coming bands may make more $ from a few shows (or merch) than streaming income in 2023.
